We don't list jobs. We close the gap.
BridgeHR was built by a software engineer and an HR practitioner who both got tired of watching South Africa's hiring system fail everyone it was supposed to serve.
The problem wasn't lack of jobs or lack of skills
South Africa has 31.4% unemployment — and yet employers consistently say they can't find qualified candidates. Youth unemployment exceeds 60%. Nearly 6 in 10 unemployed young people have zero previous work experience.
The problem is a matching and experience gap. Job boards post and pray. Automated systems reject CVs before humans read them. First-time workers can't get a first job because every employer wants experience.
BridgeHR was founded to solve this specific problem — not just describe it. We combine AI-powered matching and CV tools with accredited HR services that make hiring legally sound, fast, and genuinely accessible.
Our business model is built around an important principle: we do not charge the very people we exist to help. Job seekers get free tools. Employers pay for results. When the match works for both sides, that's when we get paid.
“The timing is right. The problem is urgent. The solution is clear.”

Technology + HR expertise. That's the combination South Africa needs.
Our principles
Mission first
We don't charge unemployed people while claiming to help them. Our model is built so that helping candidates is genuinely free — funded by employers who value the outcome.
Outcomes, not activities
Employers pay for successful placements, not job postings. We are motivated to make real matches, not just generate applications.
Legally sound
Every service is underpinned by South African labour law. An accredited SABPP HR practitioner ensures our clients stay compliant.
Network effects
More candidates attract more employers. More employers attract more candidates. Our free tools grow the pool that benefits everyone.
